Agency Effort Wins Top Honors for Second Year in a Row

(Las Vegas, Nev.)  For the second year in a row, a BowStern outreach effort won the first place award for Best Marketing Program at the International Gold’s Gym Convention. This competition, open to the more than 650 Gold’s Gyms around the world, recognized the most innovative, creative and effective marketing effort amongst all franchises.

This year’s winning campaign was specially designed for Gold’s Gyms located in Deerfield Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Port Saint Lucie and Jupiter, Florida, and was tailored to teachers. The effort utilized targeted print pieces that thanked teachers for their service to the community and offered a 10-day free pass to any of the four local Gold’s Gyms. The one-month promotion secured record membership for the month of May with nearly 1,000 new members joining the Gold’s Gym family.

The Gold’s Gym Marketing Competition is held annually at the Gold’s Gym convention and is judged by a franchisee-appointed panel.
