BowStern Holds First Commencement Ceremony

Graduate to Begin Career Immediately

(Tallahassee, Fla.)  BowStern Marketing Communications today held a ceremony to celebrate the graduation of Anna Reese Handley from the company’s nursery. Over the course of one year, Handley studied under the capital city’s premier communications experts, graphic designers and digital strategists.

“When Anna began studying here, she was an infant in the world of marketing,” said Tom Derzypolski, President of BowStern. “Today, she leaves us with the ability to communicate not only through her words but also through design. Further, she has truly honed her digital skills and understands both the value and importance of a social media presence.”

Daily lessons were overseen primarily by members of the digital marketing department with occasional inclusion of public relations and design crew members. Coursework included gross motor skills such as walking and coloring along with more specialized skills like strategic account planning and basic digital photography. Handley was frequently included in brainstorm sessions to serve both as motivation and inspiration.

When asked who or what at BowStern was most influential to her future career endeavors, Handley indicated that it was the office mascot, Ernest Hemingway’s red pig, that has given her the confidence she needs to achieve her dreams.

Handley graduated with honors and is already pursuing the next steps needed to become our area’s future marketing genius.
