BowStern Marketing Communications Brings Home Image Awards
(Tallahassee, Fla.) On Aug. 9, the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) held the association’s annual Golden Image Awards ceremony to recognize the most successful public relations efforts in the state. Tallahassee-based BowStern Marketing Communications won three awards for marketing and public relations campaigns completed for clients in 2015:
Golden Image Award and Judge’s Award: Everglades Isle Eblast.
In order to increase rentals at Everglades Isle, a luxury motorcoach retreat in Florida, BowStern created a targeted eblast to distribute to members of the Family Motor Coach Association. The eblast targeted members whose homes were located along the primary travel paths of Snowbirds, and it resulted in nearly $7,000 of rental income as well as 40 qualified leads for lot sales.
Golden Image Award: Florida Professional Firefighters Ground Breaking Ceremony.
Charged with creating a newsworthy event to break ground on the new building for the Florida Professional Firefighters, BowStern worked with the Tallahassee Fire Department to orchestrate a mock structure fire and response during a press conference. The event was covered in all local media outlets and garnered more than four million media impressions.
“Earning top honors across a myriad of industries for our work is truly an honor,” said Kelly Robertson, APR, CEO of BowStern. “Our team works to create effective and innovative campaigns and events that yield positive, impactful results for our clients. Having this work recognized by those in our industry, who are working to do the same thing every day, is extremely rewarding.”
The FPRA Image Awards competition is open to all public relations and marketing agencies and associations in Florida, and the awards are a standard of excellence within the industry. A panel of marketing professionals objectively judges all entries based on production, execution, evaluation of results and budget.
