Consumer Packaging
flying off the shelves
From cosmetics to coffee, cold brew to something stronger, BowStern has a wealth of experience designing packaging and POS solutions for a variety of different-sized brands.
With careful consideration of consumer habits, supply chains, economics, and business models, we can solve your consumer packaging problems.
lucky goat coffee
Lucky Goat engaged BowStern to help them make a leap in their brand experience, as part of their regional expansion.
As well as looking good, the bag came with several key improvements over its predecessor. Basic brew instructions, a universal brew-date chart and a zip-seal closure to keep coffee fresh all added value to the packaging.
Color-coded labels easily identify the type of blend and the roast. Spot gloss varnish picks out key details on the semi-gloss bag.
Stahl-Meyer
When one of the nation’s oldest consumer brands needed a refreshed approach to web design and marketing strategy, we stepped up to the (hot) plate.
Deep Brewing
Deep Brewing had such a strong local following that they were ready to begin distribution in regional grocery stores. Our task was to create a can design system for the two signature beers, with room for expansion later.
Our system took the brewery's underwater theme and turned it inside out. Each can is a window into the depths as if from inside a submersible. The system uses unique artwork related to the name and theme of each beer, telling small stories inside each porthole. Color coding matches established systems inside the tap room. The resulting design has become an established part of beer aisles throughout Florida.
Catalina Cafe
BowStern produced a packaging system to accommodate a large range of coffee blends, for both large and small bags. Colors and patterns were influenced by the blend itself, and created ad hoc.
We also produced bottle labels for in-house and regional retail, and a brand loyalty program based on international travel that used the coffee blend origins as inspiration.
