BowStern Campaign Wins Grand-All Golden Image

Team Honored with Region’s Top Public Relations Award

(Tallahassee, Fla.)  The BowStern Marketing team earned top honors at the 2014 Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Capital Chapter Image Awards competition today. The winning entry, showcasing the dynamic marketing efforts for the City of Tallahassee’s StarMetro electric bus fleet, won the top award for its category, an Image Award for Public Relations Programs. In addition the campaign won the coveted Grand-All Image Award. The Grand-All Image Award reflected the top honor across all 2014 categories, campaigns and entrants.

The award-winning Electric Bus campaign included a variety of integrated marketing elements:

  • Traditional public relations efforts (national, regional and local coverage)
  • Campaign-specific website
  • Social media contest and engagement
  • Visually impactful exterior bus graphics
  • Public-private partnerships with local companies who donated prizes for the contest
  • Paid media

The FPRA Image Awards competition is open to all public relations and marketing agencies and associations in the capital city, and the awards have become a standard of excellence within the public relations industry. A panel of marketing professionals judges all entries based on production, execution, evaluation of results and budget.
